Voice on radio: Building up the biggest event in the world, only three months to go until the opening ceremony, and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for it. I quite fancy my chances, so if like me you're feeling the vibe then this one’s for you…it’s Beloved with sweet harmony

'Sweet Harmony' by Beloved plays in the background

Switch to interior shot of house where Max’s wife is stood in the kitchen. She is scrolling through the pages of an online newspaper using a touch screen.

Max walks through the kitchen and past his wife, who hands him a cup of coffee.

Max: Thanks, see you in minute.

Max goes up stairs.

Max is sat at a desk. In front of him is a touch-screen computer, which he activates. He scrolls through an onscreen menu and selects a sailing video.

This is interrupted by a video call arriving on his screen.

Max touches the screen to launch a video message from his daughter.

Max: Jenny.

Jenny: Hi dad, hope you're doing well, I just wanted you and mum to be the first to know that Mark asked me to marry him – we’re engaged!

Max: Right.

Jenny: I’m so excited, (Jenny’s fiancé appears in the video putting his arm around Jenny) so call me when you get this… stop it. (talking to fiancé)

Max laughs.

Jenny: I love you, bye.

Max sits back in his chair smiling.

The scene changes to Max leaving the house with his dog.

The sound of a phone call dialling is heard in the background.

Waves crash on shore.

Max is seen walking along the beach throwing a stick for his dog.

In the background we hear Max on the phone to his friend David.

Max: Hi David, just a quick question.

David: Oh yeah?

Max: I’m sure you don’t want to be reminded, but how much did your daughter’s wedding cost?

David: No I don’t really, but I’d say you’d get about two weddings for the cost of that boat you want. Mind you it was worth every penny.

Max: Ok.

David: Why do you ask, have you got some news?

The scene changes to Max being back in his office talking.

Max: Er yeah, um Jenny’s getting married. (Max smiles)

David: Ah that’s great news, congratulations!

Max: Thanks.

David: No worries, talk soon.

Max ends the telephone call by pressing an icon on his touch-screen computer.

A selection of icons rotate on the touch screen.

Max selects one and watches video footage of Jenny, aged three, running in the garden.

In the background we hear Max on the phone to has financial adviser, Harry.

Max: Hi Harry, thanks for calling me back, just a quick one, Jenny’s getting married (close up of Max on the phone), and I think I need to move some funds around, can you look into this for me?

Harry: certainly, when is it?

Max: July, I know, I know.

Harry: No rush then. (He laughs)

Max: Yeah.

Harry: I’ll look into it for you.

Max: Ok, ok.

Harry: Speak soon.

Max: thanks Harry.

Harry: Bye.

Max: Bye.

We see Max walking into his house

Scene changes to Max at his desk, we hear ringing and Max selects incoming call on his touch screen.

A video call with Harry starts, with Harry seen on screen.

Max: Hi Harry, how are you?

Harry: Great thanks, um I’ve had a few ideas about how we can find the cash for the wedding. This is the finance plan we worked on before – hopefully you should be able to see that now?  (the video of Harry moves to the top right-hand corner of the touch screen and a bar graph appears) Now we could change the time scale. (small changes appear on the bar graph.)

Max: ok.

Harry: Or look at your investment portfolio (the bar graph reduces in size and a pie chart also appears on screen); these are how your assets are spread out at the moment, so I think if we adjust it like this, then we should be able to free up enough money.

Max: Great, that gives me a budget to work to. I’m thinking smaller wedding, probably a smaller boat.

Financial adviser: Well not necessarily, it’s just a matter of timing. Look, have a look at your options, and give me a call next week and we’ll arrange a meeting.

Max: Ok, see you then, thanks Harry.

Financial adviser: See you Max, thanks, bye.

Video call ends.

Video of Jenny at school appears and merges into a wedding scene with Jenny, Max, two bridesmaids and a page boy waiting outside of the church. Close up shots of the children.

Max: Are you ready? I’m going to miss you, let’s go.

Max:. (to the bridesmaids/pageboy) Hold Ethan’s hand, let’s go, c’mon.

The scene merges into general views of wedding guests at a reception.

Harry: Hi, just wanted to make sure everything went well today, certainly looks like it did.

Max: Thanks Harry, now I can start thinking about that yacht again.

Harry: That’s always supposing you don’t have to provide for grandchildren soon.

Max sips champagne. General wedding scene shot.
